    Fujimi Phantom woes and Mojo.

    Hi guys.
Well im trying so hard to get the enthusiasm to actually try and build something.A bad case of Sciatica has really curtailed any building.Sitting for longer then a few minutes causes a lot of discomfort. The other week a Fujimi British Phantom was started and i thought yes i could do one as i havent built one since i reckon 1992 ish.Ive amassed a little stash of Phantoms well 18 to be precise.9 of them are Fujimi ones from 1987 and 7 are the RAF FGR2 types as i planned on doing a few different air defence squadrons.Well some clever pillock won a couple of the "Firebirds" boxing and bought 5 from Kingkit for 25 each with postage. Why didnt i check say Scalemates as these boxings dont have any Sidewinder missiles or launcher rails to boot!!!.Id bought 2 of the Navy FG1s and they have the rails and crude missiles. The winders not too much of a problem as i could improve them with some scratchy work or resin ones from aftermarket. So you could say im pretty pd off with my oversight. The better boxings i read are the kits with the Fgr2s banking from the camera. Not happy at all for being such a fool.
    Richard.

These are the bits missing from Fujimi FGR2 kits.Think casting duplicates is only way to get 4 for each jet neatly. Click image for larger version
