Hyperthetical.....If you were limited to only being able to have seven tools to help you do your model making, what would they be?

    For me it would be:
    Nippers
    Cutting tool, eg: Stanley, etc
    Cutting matt
    Adhesive (Tamiya extra thin)
    Tweezers
Magnifier of some sort, eg: head mounted, etc.
Set of files of some sort, eg: mini metal files, or set of nail type files, etc

Why seven? cos I had a think about what the absolute min tool set would be for me, and I came up with the above, which just so happened to be seven items!

      Not sure i can answer

Id say sharp modelling knife but is a supply of fresh blades counting as another item?
again quality paintbrushes but is each one ckassed as a tool?
      tooth picks are invaluable
ca glue if i can only have one sort
head torch....ive took to wearing one so i can illuminate exactly where i want
reading glasses or i cant see to do anything lol
      Tweezers
      Per Ardua

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

We should have a group build one day where you can only use your 7 tools.

Would substitute coffee for tea & don't know what Hobnobs are, but agree w/chocolate, preferably dark.

A pair of steady hands (does that count as two?)
            Better eyesight
To be a 20 year old who doesn't need to work
A home big enough to store everything
A valet to supply food and drink on demand
And last but definitely not least:

Ability to actually finish every kit I start!

Depends what I’m building……soldering iron is indispensable for brass kits, but pointless for plastics….for example. Most used in general work these days are scalpel, wet or dry paper, blue tac, needle files, bent paper clips, and kitchen towel.
