    Delivery weirdness!

I've had a few delivery problems recently, my post on Evri deliveries being one, after travelling thousands of miles across the world and to get within yards from my home only to be returned, those missing parcels are now back in China and a refund has been credited to my account! Crazy waste of time and resources because of the incompetence of Evri delivery staff!

Earlier this week I ordered a 'Tamiya Char 1B bis' from a 'wonderfull' Scottish online model retailer (sorry John, you don't have them in stock, I did check) only to find the following day an email stating there was a error in their stock database and the kit wouldn't be restocked until mid August, they asked if I wanted to wait or take a refund, I decided to wait and messaged them my preference, it turned up this afternoon!

Also earlier this week I ordered from Amazon a Hobbyboss Panzer 38 (t), sometimes, not often Amazon come in with a competitive price for kits, and being a Prime customer so no postage costs. I got a message as usual telling me when my package would be dispatched, 'Prime' items are usually the next day, sometime same day! So imagine my surprise when this morning I got an email stating my expected delivery date is 26th January 2026!

Miko (reaching both ends of the delivery spectrum)

EDIT, having composed this post reminded me to cancel my Amazon order, I just found a message informing my my expected delivery date has been put back to 3rd Febuary! Needless to say, order is now cancelled!

Anyone have a Hobbyboss 38(t) ausf B or a Finemolds IJA Type 89 they don't need?

I'm lucky, my Evri delivery driver is my next door neighbour.
    Si vis pacem, para bellum.

Yes, that is lucky. Could've been a Yodel driver!

Lucky indeed! I now have my stuff delivered to a friends home, seems to be more reliable there in leafy lane suburbia
