    Memories

Sometimes in life something happens that literally stops us our tracks. I had one such moment today and it reinforced the reason why groups like this are so worth being a part of. I was sorting through a drawer in my desk and came across a short simple note with some decal material inside. Some years ago whilst working on my challenger tank I needed help with reflective material for the view slits. One of our number was there straight away with advice and a letter in the post with a piece of decal. This was made even more poignant by the name on this letter. Many of you will recognise it straight away as one of our dearly missed group. Long may this camaraderie continue.

So well remembered. A kind, generous friend. Sadly missed.

Still miss him. Great fun and a great modeller. He will be up there somewhere, turning an absolute dog of a kit into something special.

....wish I'd kept aside some pictures of his work. Inspirational. John's rendering of Simon's avatar is excellent & brings back many memories.
