Interesting, I think it’s a good idea if they want to keep up with other manufacturers who do this.

I do like Airfix but better QC should be the main thing they prioritise to prevent the mistakes and the accompanying bad publicity.

It would have been a great idea if they were including the masks in their kits.

How much and for what and how quick they can get them in the shops are the questions

And yes they should really be including them with the kits

Achieve crisp canopy and panel lines with the Airfix Westland Lysander Mk.I/Mk.III (1/48) A65008 masking set. Pre-cut masks ensure precise, stress-free painting.

£9.99 should be in in the next few days, although this should have been released the same time as the kit, and if they included it in the kit it would only increase the price of what are already at a higher price than they should, their prices have rocketed over the past few years, more than any other manufacturer

The problem will be if they produce enough to cover their range in all scales and at a competitive price. £7.99 for Dead Designs 1/72 EE Lightning - that seems reasonable so it would need to be thereabouts I would think. I would happily buy a mask for any model if it was also offered when I add it to my basket.
