      Im trying to remember the story behind the drag u la

      Years ago i got interested in the kits designed by tom daniels who designed stuff for monogram and amt....... And got into real stuff too

      When the telly people approached him to design these..... Someone else built them..... Might have been Barras who did other telly cars........ He had the idea of using a coffin for the body and made some enquiries...... Turns out back then it was illegal to sell a coffin with out a death certificate....... So a friendly undertaker was found, a fat brown envalope exchanged hands and the following night a coffin was left out the back of the funeral parlour lol

        I saw a YT clip on these cars a while ago Paul, you are right about it being Barras who built them. Barras Kustoms was his company I believe. They still exist in a private collection.
