    different scales on same dio?

Would it work if i stood 1/35 figures near a 1/32 vehicle i know they'll be around 6inches shorter but will they look out of scale? or does anyone know where i can get 1/32 Vietnam figures.

It's only a difference of about 5mm in actuality Dave, so I doubt anyone would notice.

When mixing scales I put the bigger scale to the front.....Forced perspective.

i.e., Take a 1/35 tank and a 1/72 figure....It would look daft with the figure in front of the tank, but reverse the two and in a photo it looks fine. I did just that with my 'Pink Spitfire' - 1/72 plays 1/700.

In your case Dave, the figure would be obviously behind the vehicle, but as Patrick points out, such a small difference wouldn't be noticed anyway.

Dave the jurassic park dio I am building has a 1/32 scale cj7 jeep but I am using 1/35 figures and a 1/35 t rex and it does not look out of place at all.

Figures are based on an average human height of six foot. The difference in height that the different scales generate could be seen as being well within the range of heights of the normal population but everyone would effectively be a few inches shorter. To 'blend' the effect a bit more I would only have one or two figures stood tall, mixed with some either sitting, bending or crouching etc. so thier height would not be noticeable anyway.

To be honest I doubt it would notice. Even in the same scale figure sizes differs

Buy four differnt brands and mix them up and you can see that the ones made in the Far East are generally smaller than those from the west. I think it helps make things more believable than all the figures the same height and build. After all we are all different some way.

agree with whats been said,as with figures are all way diffidence highs, and if your still over concerned

with it show to much again the vehicle, you could sink down the vehicle, about 5mm into track makes,

and this will compensate for the high differences,
