Would love to go but its over 3 hours away and would have to drag the girlfriend and 3 kids along with me so if you do make it you'll have to let us know what its like.

    Cheers

Never been to Bovington but if your ever down south there's a good collection of military vehicles at Duxford.

Been and go two or three times a year. I first went when I small and its changed a hell of a lot. It used to be wooden hangers but now it all fancy glass every where. You cannot do it in one day the ww2 section takes to a day so much to read and photo. Without a doubt the best and biggest collection of amour around plus tank fest is an event to behold. GO! leave GF and kids and just get there.

Lol. The Shop is not as good as it was. The original shop sold models and 1:1 Ammo i.e. 88mm rounds, tracks, wheels, mg 42 rounds, browning rounds, 120mm and 10.5 rounds. PLus they had some 230 railway gun rounds.

Still ok just a lot more plastic guns and airfix tanks.

Tanks do a good job of scaring GFs not kid tho, there love tanks. Hard balance to strike lol

I have been trying to plan a trip to wool in Dorset to go to the tank museum however for a 1 day trip it would cost me £200, that includes travel to and from a place to stay the night entry fees and taxi fares. I'd still love to go but it would need to be a weekend job.
