We also have our own bigfoot legend round a bouts, reports abound of sounds in the deep woods { which is about 99.99% of landscape here } of wood "clacking" picture smacking two pieces of firewood together, very structured, almost like a "Morse" code. Never bought into it until a few years ago when hunting I'll be damned!, I heard it clear as day! I also knew there was no one in that direction for miles
