School Days : did you or did you not like

    So here it goes.

The poll is a bit stupid but hope a bit of fun.

But serious answers also will be taken into account when choosing the winner. the winner will not be one who chooses all options in the poll. They will be considered complete prats.

My time at school was absolute fun I enjoyed every moment. I had the time of my life with friends sport. The teaching was first class made that way by imaginative teachers.

Maths was fun made so by a teacher who turned learning into a competitive thing but matching groups at the same level.

So have a go. Not serious just a bit of fun. There were some who just hated it. I got up in the morning with the excitement of what was to come. Learning sport and total friendship.

I was the third generation Muddle at my school. Treated with 'oh God not another one'.

So you tell me, did I like school?

It did have its moments though. Cap for the cricket, the hockey and the rugby...

Liked some of the teachers, hated the rest.

Would I do it again. No bloody way. LOL.

Did have one teacher that I was very fond of.... Wonder what happened to her...

I hated school I was bullied from day one and it didn't stop till my last year when I finally had enough and beat the bully up. It was so bad I actually considered suicide. I wish I knew I only had to stand up to them from the start, my life would have been so different

I liked my time at school but I wouldn't say it was the best time of my life. Life got better when I started to get money to do what I wanted to do

I was bored ......... So we came to an arrangement when I was 15 ......... I didn't want to be there, and they didn't want me there ( I questioned things too much for their liking)........ So we parted company, and I don't regret it for one minute ....... I think the straw that broke the proverbial Camels Vertibrae involved the deputy head's daughter and me

Do it all again ??? ............ I'd rather poke hot needles in my eyes.

I enjoyed my time at school, we had some great teachers, particularly biology.

When we did human reproduction I was the joker who asked if we would do a practical. To be told "yes, if you are willing to donate your testicles for dissection."

That is not to say there aren't some things I would like to change, as they say "youth is wasted on the young"

I enjoyed school until I was 15, then I hated it. Did the bare minimum in my last two years of high school. I'd love to see some of those teachers again... Actually I bumped into one years later who used to give us the strap for small breaches such as having your socks down. He was of the old school system and retired soon after they abolished corporal punishment in NZ. Guess he couldn't bare to part with his cane. As for the old bitch that taught maths, I'd love to do a low flyby over her grave and wake the old cow up. The chemistry teacher, now she was the stuff of teenage boy dreams...

Oh, and the one lazy vote so far is mine

Yes agreed Tony all of a sudden the real part of life was stuffed into a smaller space.

But the prize was being able to buy my little 125cc BSA Bantam. Then my world really opened up.

Feel for you. I have had 2 girlfriends that had depression from teachers bullying them. I've been singled out at work in a few jobs since leaving school and its really hard to deal with at times.

I hope things improved for you after school
