been away on holiday do missed the swap-meet details, hey - ho. purchased a dragon -Flammpanzer III for £15 and a trumpeter Chinese Type 90 WZ/551 (£12) - not sure about it though. Didn't get chance to put any models into the show, to late.

Firstly, It was nice to meet and chat to a few people.

I got a few bits & pieces of materials & accessories, and also a Revell 1/72 Northrop F-89 Scorpion. Mostly I make WW2 subjects, but I'd fancied this for a while, perhaps due to the striking colour scheme and those phallic wingtip pods!

I've obviously made a mistake; perhaps a moderator could tidy up my posts, ie simply delete the first one. Thanks

Another good day catching up with old mates and meeting new ones.

Despite 'encouragement' I restrained myself quite manfully and only bought two kits, a 1/72 Revell armour set consisting of an Elefant transporter, Panzerhaubitze 2000 and Fennek and the Italeri 1/35 Vosper MTB 77. Oh, and a couple of Vallejo paints - I sent an order to John on Friday. By the time I remembered I'd forgotten to add them, he'd picked, packed and posted my order so I couldn't add them on.

I was dithering over buying either an Italeri 1/35 Schnellboot or the Trumpeter 1/200 HMS Nelson. By the time I'd decided not to go for the Nelson, the Schnellboot had gone! Oh well. Maybe next year.

The kit swap seemed to go OK, although there was some confusion. I'm naming no names but someone sitting not a million miles from this keyboard didn't think it through properly!

If there's anyone out there who's not been to a show yet, you're missing out on some good stuff!

I would have liked to have been there, but didn't land at East Midlands airport until about 1600 hrs. Just a bit too late I think....

Anyway, didn't pick up too much as I've been busy building up my stash, so the Enterprise and the Paints etc are what I picked up today the other kits are recent additions
