    bet none of you can guess how much I'm regretting starting this.

    Hi all with the new grandaughter now toddeling I decided it was a bit dangerous having a pond so....

    oh how I wish i'd gone for a fence.

    By coincidence we were talking to day about our first grandson and filling in the ponds. Only finished them 2 years before Tut.

      Dont do it go for a fence, or tie the grandchild to a tow rope thats to short to reach the pond.

        I would have gone for the fence solution.


        We dug our pond up last year due to putting the house on the market...


        Funny we still have the water plants though just in two 90 litre buckets...


        We filled evening the hole with rhododendron soil and planted it up with rhododendrons.

            ....How do you dig up a pond ??????? ........ Don't you just fill it in ????? .............. After all a pond by definition is a hole in the ground ....... So how do you dig up a hole ? Or are Danish ponds different ??? (Just wondering )
