Tamiya 1:32nd scale aircraft, which would you buy?
I've just ordered the F-15 and decided on a Spitfire next, any recomendations on which of the three to get?

If you want a regular grey/green Spitfire, go for the Mk IX. For a tropical scheme or maybe something exotic the Mk VIII would be the option (Aussie modellers like the Mk VIII as the RAAF operated them). The Mk XVI looks cool with clipped wings and 'low back' too.
They are all based on the same basic kit, you can't go wrong.

Just had a look at them and yeah the Mk XVI does look different, but think I'll go with a Mk VIII
All the newer Tamiya kits are superb, as can be gathered from the comments in this thread. I'd love to build them all. My bank manager doesn't agree for some reason! I am definitely going to save up for the new Mosquito, that should build into an impressive looking beast.
