Funny bit is that the new house AND the car together we will still be almost £300 in pocket each month...

The reason for the new car is that we will have a bit further to drive to work, so needed a car that is less thirsty than the one we use now. The new car is given as returning 33km per litre which is pretty hard to beat!

If you are into facts and figures:

House is 216m2 the shed (man cave) is about 35m2 and the barn is 54m2 so plenty of room. The garden is a small park of 4132m2. And it is very well kept as well! So I too might be needing a new lawn mower! LOL.

Here comes the best bit...... The property is, and will continue to be a bed and Breakfast! So pocket money wont be an issue either! :-)

1km from the coast 2km from a rather large woodland/forest and a nice sandy beach!

Believe my Carina and I are so looking forward to moving in! It might also mean that I can "retire" and become self employed after a fashion.

And an exemption for model building, that lawn is a large job! Congrats on the sale and purchases Ian.

You can't beat an escape to the country. My only challenge was that the barn had to be pulled down and a new garage and workshop built so I ended up without a workshop for over two years! It was all worth the wait though. Very similar place to mine, beautifully peaceful and quiet and just the sort of spot to eventually retire to. Enjoy.
