University of Strathclyde or Glasgow University. Both have masses of info on Clyde ships and shipping. The Denny Test Tank is open to public and would be a good starting point. Look under Maritime Museums, located in Dumbarton. -

I have built a 1/48th scale SGB and have quite a bit of info, drawings pictures etc from the original set done by John Lambert. Which one are you thinkng of? or have you not made up your mind as yet :beer2:
