How was the service on AA Rick? We're thinking about flying American to LA later in the year.

It was pretty decent to be honest. I'd heard negative things but the long haul flight was okay and we got upgraded to first for the Memphis sector. We didn't select our seats on the long flight as AA charge you for choosing a window seat for example. We turned up at check in and were allocated a pair of seats next to a window at no extra charge. We still have to make the return journey though...!
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

I admit that I didn't fly in this today, but I did in 2007...

My ride home. The service is good but the seat width and leg room is awful.

My ride today at departure; then I have fix it when I landed in Luxembourg!

Not what I flew in, but flying out of Birmingham earlier (say 11:15ish) an all white aircraft, no livery - looked like a 757 or Airbus equivalent - twin jets large but not 777 large. Very strange with no markings whatsoever.

Return flight San Francisco to Auckland NZ:

Much more comfortable and quieter than the old B777 that took us to the US. Great in flight service too, but entertainment system leaves a lot to be desired. Highly recommend taking your own headphones on United (unless you can afford a posh seat).

                    Is that a 787 or A350?

It's a 787. Leg room would have been just as miserable as your BA experience except we were upgraded to Economy +. Air NZ B777 to SFO had leg room for midgets only, pretty much what you would get on a domestic flight.

No photographs but a 45 minute hop from Brussels to Strasbourg today in an Embraer 145 a Brussels Air Flight run by BMI.

Luckily I didn't have to fix it on arrival, it would probably never go anywhere again.
