Long may we remember Val Donican

You may all laugh but I loved Val, what a lovely man and voice, Ring of bright water was my favorite (the film was good too, got a lump in my throat ( anyone who's seen it will know where)) paddy may gintys goat was good also, such a shame, my condolences to his family.

One of the 'Old School' of entertainment, who had something for everyone without having to resort to shock, profanities, extreme behaviours, trying to embarrass someone or anything else that seems to be the norm nowadays.

I really miss the days of Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Dick Emery, Eric Sykes, Tommy Cooper etc....etc... We just don't seem to be able to match those standards anymore.

I guess the show must go on, but Rest in Peace Val and thank you for all the thousands of hours of entertainment you provided us with.
