Thanks guys, I have drawers full of bits of junk...you know...'the just in case' lol. Not bothered as I am looking forward to getting stuck in to some new builds.

Si, the one I was trying to remember this morning was the derelict lorry. I think the grass effect is brilliant!

Good to see you and have a chat, look forward to seeing you next week at the Gala Day.

        Well, they be gone.

I started them all off at £0.99 and just let them roll. I hated doing it at first because I really did think they were worth more, but the sensible me told me to stop being an idiot and let them go.

Funny what sells and what prices they go for.

The Bismarck wreck went for £2.89

The sunken U-boat went for £36.00

The one that Richard and Laurie liked-the wrecked Peterbuilt cabover went for £11.70

Other model went for under the material costs but I actually feel okay, I have space and have funds to get more wrecks!

That great Si (although the Bismark buyer was mean)

I think eBay should have a separate section for built models!

I saw your 2cv on there Si, but didn't see what it went for.

I can never understand why some things sell for big money & some don't.

The 2 CV still has 3 days to go and is up to a wopping £1.44

It is daft what some go for. The crashed 1/48 zero went for £26, the 1/35 knocked out P IV went for £18. Then other stuff just stall.

I think one problem is the 'PRO BUILT' issue. Seen this loads of times and sometimes they just don't look like it at all. I never put that, as I don't think I am, and it would be a bare faced lie.

I think people have been burned by 'so called' professional builds and are more wary.

I think that hurts the really top end builders sometimes-have a seen some bad models go for loads and a top notch built one go for very little.

No matter what the final sale prices, they have sold!

There's a fella on eBay who's had some 1/35 tanks on sale for months - admittedly they're not very good, but I still feel sorry for him!

Why? Maybe he should compare his builds with others and price accordingly. I try and get material costs back, if possible, as I know my work isn't top end so don't expect silly amounts. But, as you say something that you think is unique and has taken time to research...suddenly bombs

Well, with 2 days and 7 hours left to go...the 2CV is now up to £10.50...seems like there is a couple of guys battling it out.

So how about a sweepstake on the final price?

                          I'll say ...£21.70

I think the final price will be more like £13.
