    Online responses

I do the surveys on yougov and change .com and I recently did a survey on the BBC , at the end I posted a comment about it being unfair to make people pay the TV licence if they don't watch any of its programs and I got ten replies to this for and against , but there was one reply that didn't even have a point on what it was about and just picked me up on the choice of wording , in this case it was ' their' and 'there ' I was going to reply to him with a put down but thought this guy wouldn't see the funny side so there was no point

It does make me laugh knowing there are people out there just picking up on trivial things like this

Anyone else ever had this ?

The worst Alan are those who say they do not agree but then do not tell you why or put their own argument.

The best are those who do not argue in a silly way but just say this is what I believe in this is my case.

If I put that then I do not mind others coming back with have you considered this or thought that.

That is discussion which I like very much as you learn a great deal from others with consider points. This can then lead you to amending your own ideas. To argue on a yes and no basis with out rational detail reduces it to pointless argument.

Good grammar and spelling can be not a person's strong point-that does not mean they are to be excluded from having a viewpoint.

Your both correct of course lads , I think this person who ever he was thinks of himself as intelligent person and try's to show it in any instance but he didn't have the intelligence to realise that wrong wording could be down to a number of things like dyslexia and that the wrong wording was down to predictive text

Another thing in his post was he stated spelling instead of wrong wording as the word I used was spelt correctly lol

I wonder what his response would been to a reply of ' don't you meen incorrect wording as the the word ' there ' is spelt correctly!

That response not only makes his statement wrong but also shows up his poor grammar lol

Some people are just a**holes, and that's all there is to it, I no longer have political discussions with people because those of the opposite opinion - I won't mention who - typically resort to insults and name calling when I - with my obvious wit and charm - inform them of the total irrationality of their position at which point the Mrs. if present usually takes me by the earops:

It's true, some of the biggest entrepreneurs were not the best educated and they are much more successful and definitely much more intelligent than me haha
