I've taken the christine dio off ebay, I would rather bin it than be insulted, I thought those 2 bikes were worth at least 10 quid each. I have to say I know I'm not a great modeller but, really 3.70.!!!Comment

Hi Ken, I thought that your paddle steamer would have fetched a lot more than it did, but that's the chance you have to take when auctioning anything on ebay. Luckily, when I sold my Radio Controlled Aircraft Carrier, I got £400 for it, and made a slight profit, but I sold it on a ship building forum, where it seemed to attract the right kind of people.
Hope you are still gong to carry on making more models Ken, or are you just getting rid of some, to make more room.

Glad to hear you are still going to build more kits. That Heller Citron should be one hell of a model when it's built. Is it all plastic, or are there some metal parts as well? I have a Burago 1/18th model of this car, which is all metal and in black. Vary popular with the French police during the fifties. I must get round to building some of my stash, but what with jobs around the house and garden, I don't seem to have much time at the moment, or just feel like chilling out in the evenings. But I have enough kits to see me through the winter months, when its too wet or cold to be doing jobs outside. Anyway Ken, nice choice and hope it goes together ok, just take your time with it.Comment

Hi Geoff I think it's all plastic may be a while before I get it as was going to fund buying it with selling off some models but as I said for 3.70 I would rather bin them. Mind you i would have to sell 40 odd models to get 149 quid, and that's assuming I got 3.70 each I may get a lot less.Comment

A nice touch on the lottery Ken, would solve all our problems, but unless you have the ready cash, some models need to be saved up for. That's why I subscribed to DeAgostini for the 1/4 scale Honda CB750. At just over £700 its a lot to splash out in one go, so I decided to have it sent out in monthly issues (four parts per month at £32) It works out the same, but you can at least spread the payments over a two year period. I know it costs a lot, but for an all metal kit with working engine sound and lights, that doesn't require painting, it will really look the business when it's completed.
