Depends on what time of the day it is Peter.

Picks up around 5:30 just when I pick up a Peronoi.

Peter, I don't regard my not building so many models as a 'summer time slump'

Summer is for summer things and kit making isn't one of them. That can wait until the darker nights.

I'm sure your enthusiasm will return when it's good and ready. It's something we all get and you can't get pills for it....Yet!

I only have this summertime slump at the moment due to being very busy with the home , if I could find the sprues and parts to kits I started and never finished I'd be doing more building , at the moment I have a lot of work in the home looking after my wife and when I'm finished with that lot I spend it hunting for sprues and parts

I spent most of my spare time today looking for the upper hull of an Sd.Kfz 221 finally found it in in a bits box in my display room and then realised i can't start on it as I've got to clean up my man cave I tore apart looking for it

You build when you feel like it.

I only feel the same about mountain biking because it affects my fitness and health which actually matters whereas missing is a relaxing hobby that can be swapped for cider and Sun or bikes or family time without guilt.

The only time I get worked up is if I have nothing to show at model club once a month haha

Doesn't matter on the time of year. I think we all go through these 'slumps'. Best to go and do something else, and come back to the bench when you are ready to proceed. Maybe knocking one project on the head at a time might help with the motivation, with the aim of starting something you have always wanted to build once your current builds are out of the way.
