Possibly commemorative medals? Hopefully some clever person will know more than me ( which isn't difficult!)

Look to me like medals for rifle marksmanship. Top one is GERMAN FOR sure......Google translate will tell you what the German words say.

I think you're right! I looked on eBay & a guy in Germany is selling the same one for nearly £100!

i think the top one is from the german shooting federation.......my german was never much good....hell, i struggled with english lit at school lol lol


i know shutzen is rifle....its a word to discribe a very german style of stock on rifles

Thanks all, it appears to be a commemorative pin given to the competitors at the 1966 World Shooting Championships.


Quite rare & valuable so I'm given to understand. And as Dougie says, it could be worth a few kits, or my new airbrush!
