Well now I have seen it all !

we say this all the time about astonishing or incredibly stupid things we see while out and about but I think this must rank as one of the most stupid and dangerous things I've ever seen while driving

I was heading into Torquay to pick my daughter up from work when I came around a bend and had to break hard and it's not something you expect to see

There not fifty metres from the bend was a dog doing its business in the middle of the road and attached to this dog was a middle aged woman holding its lead as if there's nothing wrong with her dog taking a crap in the middle of a busy road at rush hour !

Car horn after car horn , obscenities after obscenities she didn't bat an eye lid in fact I'd say the look on her face was one of wonder at what the commotion was about

Can anyone remember or have seen such a sight ?

Did she pick up after the dog had finished? That's an £80 fine right there!

PS There is no known cure for stupidity!

There is no such thing as a bad dog, there are only bad owners.

Up until two years ago Alan I used to work within the construction industry which I have to say was much safer than the the job I do now. I decided I wanted to do something different and bus driving is certainly different as I have found out and most days I finish work dumbfounded as to what antics passengers pedestrians and other road users get up to infact a could write a book on it so it comes of no surprise that a dog and it's owner decided to take a crap in the middle of the road like you said they are stupid or ignorant or both

Just be glad she had a dog in the street and not an auto on the sidewalk I've worked in NYC all my working life and once had to jump for my life to avoid being killed by a woman who jumped the sidewalk taking out parking meters and trash bins in order to be the first to make the green light

Never found out why or what happened after, but once it had sunk in so to speak, I thought how ironic for me to have almost died in such a way after all I had been through in my life previous

I remember my first proper girlfriend when I was 16 had a small terrier type dog. The first time I went to her house to take her out I`m Sat in the lounge with her mother while my girl is upstairs getting ready. Mother, somewhat similar to Hyacinth Bouquet (aka Bucket) and I are sitting making mindless Smalltalk. Small terrier type dog then proceeds to start "Humping the footstall" for all he`s worth............ Me, I`m trying desperately not to laugh........ and mother is Sat there deliberately not looking at the dog, who is just getting to the vinegar strokes, with a look on her face that said....... Absolutely nothing is happening, and asked me if I would like something else to drink......... at which point the laughing gene got the better of me...... and got worse when she finally looked at the dog and snapped "Willy stop that, we have a visitor!".

                        I will never forget it.
