I'm okay with you incinerating wasps, but spare the bees, we need these for pollinating and I Love Honey!

The windmill, I built from a kit, the sails and top part revolve on ball bearings, when the wind catches it. The cart wheel bench came from the Range as a self assembly item. Enjoy

The deepest part of the pond is 3ft and the most ice that has formed on the surface, has been no thicker than an inch, when it freezes. During the winter months from Nov to March, I use a pond heater that works on a timer switch, so it comes on about 6pm and goes off at 8 am. It only uses 20 watts and will keep at least a two foot area around the heater from freezing, up to minus 20 degrees C, so the fish won't starve of oxygen. Simples!

we had up to 6ft of ice on our local lakes last winter, but I will admit that that was the coldest winter up here I can remember. Seems every year it gets worse and worse, it's only the first week of August and already the leaves are turning and starting to fall, so much for global warming ayeo_O
