I wonder how VR930 is coming along? My father flew that aircraft on several occasions, including to Hal Far where the photograph on the RNHF web site was taken.

His log book gives the tactical number, 155 in the case of VR930, rather than the serial number of all the Sea Fury that he flew apart from one T.20, VX298.

      Cheers

On a similar note I visited the Deutches Museum in Munich and took a load of photos which I am happy to share on a need basis but the conditions specifically ban me from posting on the Internet.

Photos of the Messerchmitt 109E1, 262 and 163 as well as the Ju 52, lockheed star fighter and that experimental VTOL variant of the Starfighter. Also shots of the harrier engine sans aircraft.

I also have the Brussels royal military museum 5 minutes from work which has free entry so if anyone needs a photo of something their I am quite happy to pop in over lunch.
