From an early age I decided, and which has stuck like Mr Cement S welds plastic, on


one particular aspect of life.


Doing the good enjoyable things and the rotten boring monotonous things of life.


I always sort out the boring things every day and get rid of them to award myself


the remainder of the day to enjoy without interruption.


Spills over into model making. I keep the work place tidy as then I spend less


time hunting for items and more time on the pleasures of model making. My sister,


poor girl, was the opposite enjoyable things first boring things last. Silly girl.


Have you got one. Regime not sister although you may be unfortunate


and have both.


Another I have, just as fanatically, is to never give up on a problem. I always


work at it until it is solved. I work on the basis that there is always a solution


it just has to be found.

I like the lack of procrastination mate, I have struggled with motivation lately and have a lot of diy to finish.


My favourite regime is a coffee at the weekend on my nice espresso machine followed by packing the car with the mountain bike to pick up my mates and go explore or just rife some trails. Has been this easy since college.


With a baby on the way it has fallen away a bit but hopefully it will eventually become a family hobby which means I will have to give up my beloved r32 for something bigger. I still get pelters for having that with a baby on the way . I've just told the missus to get her licence and a car or deal with it... Oooopppppsssss.

Yes provided you are a good cook as I can see a continual 24 hours strike in the offing.


Followed by a card strike on the on line women's clothing shop. Followed by a paint your


nails and coiffure visit completed (for the day) by an expensive lunch with women friends.


All on a Saturday while you baby sit.

modelling wise i have a regime similar to lauries........when im finished for the session i tidy away all the tools and paint, generally tidy up the benches surface, that way the next time i sit down there i know where everything is, i havnt got to make a space to work on.....only takes a minute to do and its looks a bit inviting, always found a messy bench puts me off a bit

Important things for me - time keeping is an obsession for me I hate being late for anything , another is keeping things tidy my modelling work bench is spotless sadly the rest of the house always gets messy , having two boys aged 13 and 7 I`m always going to lose that one .

Mine is sleeping...not good at the moment. Modelling has taken a back step, a rather large one. I cannot be bothered in anything, modelling, sorting out the shed. Motivation has just left me and I feel fatigued.
