    Gone away from modelling

I haven't touched a model or a paintbrush in the last few months.

Partly for health reasons, which are slowly getting back to normal. But also because this acting thing is really taking off for me. I haven't had much time to put towards building kits anymore. Thus far my resume includes such shows as season 1 of "young drunk punk", seasons 8 and 9 of "heartland", season 5 of "hell on wheels" and I did a movie called "burn your maps" just a few weeks ago. I am having the best time of my life in this line of work. I don't know why I resisted it for so long...

Best of luck in your new career mate. You will come back to the models in time after all the wrap parties and free drink get you down.

      Maybe!

Steve so glad to hear your acting is taking off but on the flip side your modelling is taking a hit. But I'm sure you will find a little time every now and again to fit some in, you always hear about actors being in between jobs.

        Best wishes mate

It's paying off in other ways as well. I have a young nephew who lacks a proper father figure and is feeling a lot of self doubt, and a lack of worth. He was being picked on in school for a bit, I guess because in some small way he was allowing it. So I started passing some information back to his mom and then on to him about the work in TV and film that's starting to get big, as well as that picture of me I once posted somewhere around here. Now everyone thinks he is the coolest because he has an uncle who is on TV and famous. I said, "I do mostly background at the moment, I have a long way to go before I am famous.", and his mother said "you're famous enough for him and everyone is not picking on Cam anymore for it." Well, there's my good deed. I hope to keep 'em comin'.
