    packing madness

Have you seen anything more ridiculous. Another idiot package.

About time the authorities did something. All the resources being eaten up.

Sometimes, they do seem to go over the top, at least you can recycle all of it.

At least its only cardboard and paper though Laurie , easily recyclable or degradeable , what gets me going is the ridiculous amount of plastic blister packaging on things , the manufacturers seem to think that absolutely everything has to have its own plastic bag or blister , but its the consumer that gets the blame for excess waste , bring back paper bags for sweets , fruit and veg and returnable deposits on bottles , oh and milkmen too !!

I can honestly say that I have seen worse!

Two packs of cleaning tablets for a coffee maker. Each one the size of a packet of cigarettes. Delivered in a box 20*30*45 cm...

Also at work I used to get loads. A single 12mm compression joint in a shoe box....

Best one had to be a box of bolts on a half pallet!

It's laughable sometimes, I ordered some leds from Germany and the pack of 50 leds came in a plastic seal bag measuring about 2"x2"x 1/4" the box (which was covered in bubblewrap and brown paper was a3 size and about 2" deep.
