    My youngest son got married

A couple of pictures. Second is with my sons and youngest grandson "the ring man".

Lovely wedding about 40% Caribbean (Stratford London and St Lucia). Piper at the church and reception. Then at the dance the Jersey Scottish pipe and drum band for 15 mins.

Fortune was with me the Raddison Hotel is only 200 yds from our flat.

      Well done Laurie...nice pictures.

A question please. I seem to remember you are a Stewart and I presume that's the clan kilt you and your other son are wearing , but what tartan are your son and Grandson your son wearing? I'll have a stab at 'Hunting Stewart'

Congratulations to all Laurie. As a Scot it is great to see the kilts.

Good stab Ron. Youngest son and grandson Hunting Stewart. My eldest son and

myself are wearing what is termed Modern Stewart. It is actually Ancient Stewart.

I am also associated with the Gunn Clan. My maternal Grandfather "Sandy" was

a Shetlander. So the family have actually travelled from the extreme top of the

British Isles The Shetlands to the very bottom Jersey.

Thanks for all your thanks very nice. Great wedding made a rubbish speech even

Pauline told me of that calamity. At the end of the speech I had my Sporran with a

Flask. Carribean style filled with--- ouch--- not whisky rum. Two quaich and Candy's

father and I drank to their sucess.

            Laurie

PS quaich is a Scottish small drinking bowl with handles on each side.

Proud that he has left a bedroom for my model making

(oh that is such a terrible thing to say what came over me).

Congrats on your son and his wife, I hope you claimed the room before your missus claimed it as a sewing room, my missus is a member of the clan too.
