Lobe the 60s/70s/80s/ 90s and possibly 00 but don't like that garage or grunge stuff, like most music and even like listening to easy relaxing music while modelling
I was a teenager in the 1960s, and I am so glad that I lived through that magical time when Mod turned to Hippy
So I like the Beatles & Stones, and from the appearance of rock acts like Cream, then through the Underground/Prog. Rock with bands like Traffic, Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, and so on. But I don't like the subsequent move to heavy metal
Though my favourite musician is a guitarist & singer, Michael Chapman
If i like it i will buy it but i do have a liking for queen
Good choice.

my preference would be rock/metal...........big fan of Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rammstein, etc
but i also like rockabilly and blues
my guilty pleasure is Julie Fowlis, very relaxing
I worked it out you like Sabbath.
Metallica and Anthrax 1986 Manchester Apollo...Brilliant.

SWR, Brad paisley is a coutry singer, and probably the best guitarist in country music today.
I have a great love of modern country, and old rock, but being a guitarist myself, i also love the skillset of Alexi Laiho, although his band children of bodom, do absolutely nothing for me!
but i will listen to most things except for jazz (4 blokes all playing a different tune at the same time), 99% of rap (spelled with a silent 'c') and most things associated with simon cowell (done more harm to popular music than i thought would be possible)
I'm quite partial to Children of Bodom.

And I listen to practically everything. Even a bit of classical from time to time. About the only thing I can't stand is boy band/girl band pap. And rap, the music with a silent C.
Like all different sorts of music from easy listening ,60s music ,glam,80s,indie,some metal, the jam,the pogues there's a American band called the dropkick murphys who are brilliant but no matter how hard I've tried listening to all different types of music for me nothing but nothing comes close to punk rock
Ralph, you're doing well with this thread! I tried the same thing last year and got totally zip! Zero, nowt, nothin', a nought without a rim, nada, zilch!
It's easier to say what I don't listen to and I'm sorry if anyone is offended I can't stand most heavy rock ( Iron Man tunes get a free pass ) hate HIP hop, rapping, house, garage all that sort of stuff. Not keen on jazz, R n B, classical or punk.
So what do I like? again I make no excuses for what I listen to, in no particular order.....
George Straight, Garth Brookes, ZZ Top, Bruce Sprigsteen, Phil Collins, Shakin Stevens, Showaddywaddy, Elvis, Joss Stone, Billy Joel, LOnestar, Kylie, Chris Rea, Meat Loaf, Vixen, Anastacia, Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Darius, Wet Wet Wet, Holly Johnson, Matchbox, Drifters, Londonbeat, Prince, Marron 5,,, as I say a real mix,
