    Back modelling...sort of.

I have been popping in and seeing the stunning builds for you all.

Have returned to the shed as was asked to do another sci-fi model for the college. This one is a very early Star-Trek-esc deep space explorer, got lost, lost all communication and drifted around-battered and worn with a captured meteor on the nose all hollowed out for extra space and fuel. Have been doing and hour or so then leaving it. Will get some piccies up when I get some more done.

I went back into the shed last week and nearly poisoned myself-my hands started to shake and I dropped a cup of coffee all over the table, tried to clean it all up and then sat and poured another cup full from the flask-little did I know I spilt loads of white spirit into the cup...the coffee was lukewarm and I just gulped it down, never smelled the WS, only the taste hit me after I had swallowed some. All okay, was sick but am fine.

Back to the Doc's this Thursday, hopefully will get some better pain meds.

    Take care guys and gals.

Good to see you mate, i feel your pain bud, im sitting here with a 20cm catheter going from my upper arm round to my chest inside a bloody vein, had it fitted this morning, and now my arm hurts like a SOB!

Take it easy Si, i think we would all like to see you involved, even if its just chatting. I really hope the doc sorts the pain meds out, i ended up having to go see a pain clinic, to get my drugs, but the lidocaine patches for my legs have to be bought privately, at £370 per month!!

I got plenty of oramorph if you need a good nights sleep, pain free!

Incidentally dave can't you get help from Help For Heroes or from which ever organisations (army, navy, air force) you were in, didn't seem fair to me.

Good to see you back in harness - even in a small way Si! Drinking the wrong stuff by accident is common - my mate mistook his girlfriend's hydrogen peroxide for his cough medicine! His excuse was that they were both in brown glass bottles

You gotta look after yourself better than that young Si! Bad enough having to take so many prescription drugs without tryin' to poison yourself!

Take it a bit easier if you need to, no point knockin' yourself about tryin' to do too much. We might miss your great builds, but we'd miss you a lot more!
