The sound is good on them I will admit that but you don't get the same sound from behind you without speakers there , I like the sound of bullets whizzing past my ear and hitting the wall behind me or the creek of a floorboard when your watching a horror movie

Wife's are brilliant ( devious and sometimes damright evil ) Oct past we decided to go see my mother who was 70 ( total surprise we drove 6 hrs to see her ) well we set off at about 9in the morning and when we nearing Carlisle the wife says ( oops no jewellery on no wedding ring eternity etc etc ) we are 85 miles into our surprise visit journey so that put me in a downer, couldn't turn around so continued to Northampton. Now I don't like a wife to have no jewellery and as we had arrived the day before the party she got whole new set of rings and earrings bracelet etc etc etc

( I could have bought a 55imch 3DTv surround sound speaker set for that and still got change to buy the SdKfz 7 at £100

All I get for my very expensive visit was " I love you"

You know what though she's worth every penny ( do not tell this to your wife's or I guarantee she wil forget some piece of jewellery next time your out!!!

Oh and I don't think I'm getting a tank or plane for xmas although I've hinted at a few ideas

      Cheers

      Robert

Our sub woofer is behind the couch, and I can assure you we hear knives and bullets whizzing past our ears too. I once was l ike you and thought sound bars were rubbish (the early ones maybe were) but this is definitely not crap, I don't know the technical jargon but apparently the six speakers in the sound bar are all angled so that sound bounces off the walls and the sub woofer fills any gaps.

Ah this is the thing I'm trying to say Ken you've turned your sound bar into a surround sound system by putting the speaker behind you now I can understand where your coming from you've set up like my sound system

So we agree your getting the same sort of sound that I do so no wonder you think it's good because it's the same as mine only I have the extra speakers positioned around the room

I might just pop along Alan, I'm ok to get there but thanks for the offer of a lift anyway. I'm not that much of a club person as I have this awful anxiety /depression thing which I'm working on at present (not worried about admitting this on an open forum, nowt to be ashamed of! ).......but it takes a bit of courage and a few deep breaths to get me there, once there I'm quite relaxed with my surroundings, it's the anticipation!

I will definately come to a night........and see how it goes!

I bought the wife a laptop and she asked me what I wanted and I mentioned the tamiya sd kfz 7 with the resin figures and the full kit of the IJN Yamato with the ton of brass

While I'm dealing with the stuff we bought and listening to the bloke trying to sell and failing all the offers they do the wife mentioned something about a vacuum and toddles off

We leave the store and return home

Yesterday the doorbell rings and there is a delivery bloke there with a huge box , on this box are the words Panasonic vira 3D smart TV 55" , I think the guys got the wrong address! But no it's the right address

While I'm dealing with the worst salesman in history she's off talking to the TVs guys and ordering it off her phone

She let me have it early , women are very devious you know

But I did get told where to go when I mentioned if I was still getting the models

She's a good one my Mrs
I'm going to print this out and leave it lying around the house, in many different places.
