It was good. A lot of the plane spotters/experts in here would probably have seen or now about everything in the program.

Yes it was very good si , nice mix of history and current info. Bit sad too for the blokes who have put so much into keeping her flying up to now , cheers tony

As with all those vintage aircraft, im sure the CAA just make it harder and harder for crews to keep historic airframes alive,

And when stuff like the south england airshow crash happen, then every safety crazed official puts the kybosh on it again.

Looking forward to this but not my 1/72 build of Airfix build ( I hope they release new tool in 2016/17?

I think I must be about the only one who finds Guy Martin unbelievably irritating. The accent is played on far too much and he really does try to set himself up as a replacement for Fred Dibnah without any form of credibility for me. He should have stuck to riding bikes where he is easier to ignore.

The Vulcan program was actually very interesting and explains well why it cannot carry on any more. There will now be two that can taxi but will not be licensed to fly ever again.

Generally a good programme; a bit of history & background, a bit on the particular aircraft, and an explanation of why it is no longer possible to keep it flying

Would have been better with more Vulcan and less Mr Martin

I have to agree with you although I thought the first speed thing was good Richard he does drone on a bit and he speaks utter spell about " look at that can you believe that etc etc

I do think he's trying to be something he's not!

The programme was very interesting and it did bring a lump to my throat at the end ( I loved that roar she made when she opened her throttle!

I wonder if now XH558 is grounded ( Airfix who is owned by Hornby can now get a digital scan of her and remake their old kit ( my opinion ) then I'll buy the new kit and use the old one for spares as I'm never going to spend loads on it to coerrect it

                      Kind regards

                      Robert

I've recorded it to watch later, but then again I still have the one to watch he did about the spitfire last year
