I only use this one as a main site, as its friendly and I can get all the answers I need but I also use Florys site as I like the live chats and video builds

Id agree with ade, florys site is a realm of info and skill but this forum is the best for a wide variety of skillset and knowledge.

Let me see, it's such a long list, um the best, you say, um let me think, well there's, no they went out of business, oh, I know, oh, I had that problem there, oh, oh, yes, actually no, yes, yes, that's it, of course, Scale Model Shop, I believe they have a forum as well.

The only problem is they don't sell Tamiya sprays

It depends on what you want , if you like it friendly and more social then this is the best , if your more into the very serious building there's loads to choose from


I only use two other sites , britmodeller and complete models , britmodeller is ok it used to be quite rough on newbies to the hobby but it's changed and I havnt seen any nasty posts , complete models is a good one its different to this as the set up is different for posting builds and it was more of a show and tell site but now it has a forum but it's down at the moment for reconstruction but it should be up and running again very soon

I love this place and think its the best but what im looking for is a UK based site that sells all modelling paints and stuff like that. I looked at the scale models web page but it does not sell all im looking for
