A New Year to come and while we know of many releases coming along what modelling releases and surprises would you really wish for even if you think there is no hope?
For me, not much chance of any of these and we know Mr Tamiya san will do his own thing with, probably a bomber version of the Mossie, but I can live in hope.
From HK Models - all in glorious 1:32 scale
Short Sunderland, it would be a massive model, but with a real wow factor and 'do-able' with HKM's wall fixing or maybe with a ceiling fixing.
Handley Page Halifax as above, my favourite bomber and highly under-rated.
B24 Liberator, another that rests in the shadow of another 'heavy'
B26 Marauder, I love the look of these.
From Tamiya - again all in glorious 1/32 scale
Anything with a prop.... yes anything but it really is time we had any of the the following:
Hawker Hurricane Mk1
Bristol Beaufighter to compliment their wonderful Mossie
BP Defiant what a 'turn up for the books' that would be and what a fantastic one to have on the shelf.
From any major mainstream company such as, Kittyhawk, Zoukie Mura, Dragon, Hasegawa, Hobby Boss, Trumpeter's 'A Team'.... All again in 1:32 of course, new tool:
Any Italian or French WW2 fighter, subjects totally overlooked except by short run companies.
Paints:
More AKI Air Series acrylics including:
FAA WW2 set
RAF Desert Air force set
USAAF WW2 set
IJA set
French and Italian WW2 sets
WW2 'Markings' set
Colours individually available from UK stockists (John?)
Over to you and have fun with your fantasy lists....
