So after eight years of struggling to survive here in Canada and countless interviews and let downs, my wife finally landed the sort of job and salary she had dreamed of, starting in November, today I was informed that I too I have been offered a job that will double my salary, also to start in the new year, it has not sunk in yet for either of us as we were sure we would have to give up and return to England! now we have more than doubled our salary and can now settle down to a life here without worrying, great Christmas present.
