Aha Looks like you've been getting to many bargains from the charity shops! I would say i could do with some of them bargains but ive been packing up my stash as its in multiple locations ready for the house move in 2 weeks or so.

Ive accumulated quite a few now

Good idea with the guard cat!

Not weird John, you obviously have strength of character to resist bargains!

My stash is small, but perfectly formed unlike my Shelf of Doom

                  looks much better,

Gotta disagree there Patrick! No stash - even a teeny, tiny small one - is seriously weird!o_O

Peter - How on earth did you manage to accumulate all those?! At the rate you build and finish kits, you must be modelling and buying kits full time!

I try to thin my stash down and my wife tells me not to buy any more but there are so many kits I want to build ( must try to build faster?)

However that' defeats the purpose. I enjoy building and boding what I do.

                          I have about 60/70 kits in the stash,but at the rate I model(about30/40 per year) I have got a 2 year supply.One year I made over 50 models,so I reckon I need more

I see my stash as my retirement fund If all goes to plan, I will finish work at 65 this year at which point I will have to seriously curtail my buying of kits and, especially, aftermarket. What budget I will have will be taken up on consumables, paint, glue, thinners etc.

I currently have five bin bags full but I know there is quite a bit I am not currently that interested. As I run through it though the less interesting may have to become interesting or I will run out to quick.

However, I still want to get the Tamiya Famo and trailer before the wage dries up.
