    Amazon are good at this but they just use yards of scrunched up paper. Suppose it saves them having to have too many box sizes at each packing station.

        I expect they're saving money by only having a few different, standard sized boxes. Revell have been doing that for years!

            Quite often when I get deliveries from Hornby they put kits in boxes way too big for them but they then squash that many airbags in that it ends up damaging the boxes in side.

              well Ron,I do agree with you as being a bit of over kill,


              but on the other hand stops this from happening,


              so it should be some were in the middle,and I,was so lucky it did not crush

                I ordered this recently and whilst the packaging was adequate I think the Dangerous goods warning may have been overkill
