    Paint shaker/stirrer

For a while I have wanted some form of paint stirrer/shaker. So today I set about creating one from an old jigsaw that was past it's best. As can be seen below I have mounted it on a few small blocks of wood.

The blade holder has had a bit of old sprue put in and tightened while the cup is an old thinners bottle with polystyrene in the bottom to hold the bottle in place while it is shaken. I shall give it a proper run tonight when I do some painting.

Works a treat Graham no more shaking/stirring by hand just pop it in the pot and turn it on.

Nice one Terry, very clever. I wonder if I could incorporate my heavy coughing shaking hands with stirring paint bottles...nah, I'll give it a miss.

It certainly does Scott I am going to make another attachment so two pots can be shaken at the same time. It will also come in handy for mixing.
