    Driving games for PC (Vista)

    As the title says.

Daughter No1 and I have just bought a new steering wheel for the PC and have played 'Need for Speed' to death...................So we now need a new game or two. For me something with some classic cars would be good, but not essential. If there's a sort of modern day equivalent to Carmageddon, now that would be something else..

    Regards

    Colin M...........

Grand prix legends. Old but great. There have been so many new tracks and cars you will not believe! Best bit..... Its real GP cars from the sixties!!!!

One of the best car games I have had and can drive you nuts!

As said it is an older game but the comunity has kept it up to date with add ons and patches. Well worth the time updating.

Personally I like the Colin McRea-rally series of games. Also check out "GRID" that might be close to what you're looking for, along the lines of Carmageddon.

Rally Championships was good, as was the first couple of Touring car championship games.

Those Colin McRae games were also good. Spirit of Speed was another OK one with classic race cars.
