    Which is your other hobby?

Well we all must have another hobby, related or not with scale modelling. My other hobby is playing Airsoft. I was surprised to find out that in EU are arround 750 sites to play this game. But, more then half of them are in UK. There are so many people, all ages, sex, culture joining this game named "Game of Honor". Why? Because shooting with this small plastic pellet s at long distances is sometimes imposible to se if you hited your target( unless you have a sniper rifle)!(I have one)! .

So the player need to be fairplay and if he is hearing or felling the impact he/she declares "Hit" and live the game for 5 minutes. There are so manny rules, some of you know them, probably. My last game was 2 weeks ago, next one is next week. And , me and my son had spent some money on our gear.

My other hobby, used to be my prime hobby, is photography. Don't get out and about enough now so it has been combined into the modelling.

hmm... well, i used to collect military surplus rifles and target shoot with them, but could be expensive along with the hard to find ammo, so i sold off most of them and just kept the ones i really had an attachment to.

i also used to surf. still have my two longboards.

i love cycling (bicycles) and ride whenever i can. i also love working on bikes, as well.... love to tinker. and let me clarify, i am not a cyclist that wears the costume... just jeans or what ever and a regular shirt. no lewd lycra shorts for me, thank you very much.

i guess that's all i do right now other than modeling.

Yep, I used to love gentle cycling but since my knees went, I only cycle to work and back. Only 1.5 miles each way and dead flat. Still painful but less so and quicker than using busses. Tried the black Lycra once but someone took out an Injunction on me ever wearing it again ..... I think it was my better half . I did look like an overstuffed black pudding though

My hobby "cycle" is interesting in that it has come full circle.

As a young lad did the whole plastic model thin, in high school I did RC models, after getting married did my PPL fixed wing and built a full size PA-18 super cub now I am a fabric teck on full size and busy with a Pitts S2b team.....and in my spare time to relax I build plastics again LOL

Well if I was to be honest, after modelling I do like researching history and this is where the wife comes in as well as we both like this subject a lot, so we plan our holidays around this subject . Going back through the ages and finding out how the people used to live/ die ( English history is so brutal )

We have been to castles/ museums/ beaches ( Normandy ) holiday history is good too. One minute your in a cafe in France/ Belgium and then another you're in deepest caves looking at Hitlers V3 complex.

                          Regards

We are doing the same thing, driving arround Europe and Uk, visiting casstles, ww2 camps and places. It is good to know the world history and to be there, toching this old relics.
