not really....i hate having unfinished stuff around..........it either gets finished or if its being really awkward it gets binned!

at the minute i just have the Ferrari i started last month (need to find a container big enough to put it in to soak it with brake fluid to strip the paint) and a Tamiya Ducati MHR that i lost the decals for but found a few weeks ago so im going to finish that soon

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

I have the same problem. I get to a point with a model where I need new paint etc so while waiting for it I start something else. I have packed away everything except a few I'm working on so I wont be tempted to start anything else.

I have a couple of aircraft that need finishing but since I got back in to armour they have been put away.

The only unfinished build I have is the one I'm working on.

Unless you count my Railway which I'm always working on(10 years so far).

I am desperately trying to keep unfinished work down. Although by nature I cannot just have one build on the go at one time, it is sooo easy to let things get out of hand. On my comeback a few months ago I actually binned a lot of started kits that I knew I would never get back into even though I may get the same kits again later.

There is just something about a started kit that after a certain length of time, I know I will never complete. At the moment, I have about four unfinished builds, one I hope to finish in the next week or so and the others may take a while longer but I still feel the need to start something new today to keep things fresh.

Well I don't know where to start with my unfinished projects, but they are all relevant. I'm waiting on my new compressor but that should be with me in the next couple of weeks with paints etc from John.

                      I have my group builds

2x Spitfires 1/48 Vb and Vc ( Malta

                      1/48 J10 Chengdu ( modern jet)

And also lots of started projects which I started but then my compressor dies and I can't brush paint as good as Alan........

                      1/72 Airfix Valient

                      1/72 Revell Fw200

                      1/32 Wildcat/ Martlet

                      1/32 Revell Me109G6

                      1/35 Churchill.( dio )

                      1/48 Mustang iv

1/35 Jagdpanzer iv Lang ( dio)

                      1/35 Willys and trailer

                      1/35 Whippet ( dio)

Loads of 1/35 figures to do

                      1/32 remember 1940 ( Dio

There are a few others here and there but the wife went through my room the other week and did a good clear out of lots of rubbish

So I'm not alone then in the same hobby.

                      Regards

                      Robert

                        Hi Polux

I think this is a common problem with some modellers (myself included!), although I don't have quite as many projects as you on the workbench at the moment.

As it happens I'm presently working on the 2 Fokker Dr1s I started for the WW1 group build. That has to be a couple of years ago now!

Don't worry Polux I'm sure you will finish these superb projects in the fullness of time and I look forward to the results!

                        All the best

                        Paul

I've also got a list - almost certainly the longest one on the forum so I won't send you all to sleep by printing it out!

Wow, you should all be ashamed. I do one at a time, and that is it. Oh wait, I do have that crash dio I'm slowly looking at...............

Sometimes I just stop because I don't know how to go on....

And then, some time later I found a "solution" or a new skill that helps me to return at the model!!! The famous "learning curve"

Anyway...thought, have all this amount of started kits, must be punished by law
