I use the iPad for 90% of my browsing and viewing. The laptop is used for my photo editing and storage of original pics and uploading to Photobucket. Tablets are so quick and easy to see what's going on.

I am as progressive as anybody, but I have a desktop computer and a 5-year old dumb mobile phone which I use about 6 times a year (mainly to keep in touch with my wife when we are out shopping etc. separately). However my daughter (married to a German and living there), her husband and and the two boys spent a lot of time on my WiFi (no cost involved except for the Internet use). Whenever anyone expressed a doubt about anything the 17 year old would look it up in Google etc. and immediately announce the populations of the various Departments (whatever they are called) in Germany, their areas etc., the mating habits of the earthworm, or skyping with his girlfriend (in Germany). Very impressive. But I don't really need or indeed want minute-by-minute contact with the World, fascinating though it is. If I had such a mobile it would either stay in the drawer, or I would become a slave to it.
