A lot of us use VMA but though their range is extensive there are some significant gaps (Fleet Air Arm Dark Slate Grey for instance) in addition some of their colours seem a bit wrong, not that we all get overly fussed about this.
The good news is that they are bring out a whole range of new 'Air War Series' VMA paints with a lot of new colours filling gaps and correcting some errors of the past.
There are 17 new sets and in the RAF/FAA ones I have managed to i.d. about 15 new shades including a 'corrected' dark earth, the old one being a bit dark. I had to do this by looking at an enlarged pic of the sets and seeing the VMA 71.xxx numbers that dont appear in the old chart. So the information is a bit sketchy at the moment regarding the full make up of all the sets, specially as they have not brought out a new colour chart with them yet. They make a really convenient way to access the right paints.
These could be a good development.
