    It's been a dead week!

    Not had any time at the bench this week at all. May get a few hours over the weekend but, for once, I am not worried as two weeks on Tuesday I leave work for the last time, that bench will not know what has hit it!

    You will have time to play with your new toy, did you watch the video about it?

      I know what you mean Graham as all I'm doing at the moment is going to work and decorating my way through the house when at home so time at the bench is very limited !

        Beware of telling everybody Graham - Nature abhors a vacuum!! What I mean is that folks will do their utmost to fill your newly found free time!! I'm 2 1/2 years out, and already finding myself clawing back what I've earned. If I had my time again, id have kept it quiet, despite the amazing feeling of excitement and wanting to tell everyone

                I certainly will Ralph. And no, no one apart from SWMBO will be giving me jobs and they will be for both our benefits so I don't mind that

                          Well at the moment I've only got 13 more years to go, that's if the Government doesn't change the retirement age again.

                          Any way have great retirement Graham looking forward to all your builds

                            Good luck with the retirement;

                            The way the retirement age has been increasing recently I sometimes wonder if I will ever get there.

                              I am lucky in that I fall just right to be able to finish at 65. I do wonder if some of the younger generation will ever know what it is to retire. Just wish I had a pension that the youngsters are in a position to generate. Sadly a lot of them don't think it is important but there will be no state pension in years to come.
