    That's it, I am done!

As of 13:00 today I am officially On leave until 31/05/2016 upon which I become unemployed until early June when I retire. Happy days although I will miss cycling to work and back in the cold and wet while avoiding school run cars, NOT!  :/

I will, of course, miss some of my now ex colleagues without whom work would have been even more tedious...... :|

Stage three of of my life begins now and, for me, it will be the most exciting and creative. Bring it on

      Congratulations!

I retired in 2011 and had a vision of backpacking trips and model aeroplanes stretching out in front of me; but anyone who's retired will tell you that it doesn't seem to work like that

Do you know how many models I've made in that time? - three!

Mainly because since retiring I've discovered another hobby - knifemaking. Well it's two really as I'm also doing leatherwork to make the sheaths

You are far too generous John lol  xD

Had the bus pass for a while now but you cannot use it until 09:30  > . However, there is a bus that runs from Peterborough right through to Great Yarmouth via Norwich which I can get on for free 9_9 .  It's a four hour journey each way but I could go to GY for a bag of chips and be back home for 7:00, just  o.O
