why does work have to get in the way of pleasure?

I thought I was only going to have a long weekend away from home and the workbench due to a field trip to India but now it seems I may have to go directly to my next job in Copenhagen which means as much as three weeks away from home. At least the temperature is more tolerable in CPH, I'm melting in 40 degree heat. And I will finally get to visit that nice looking model shop that Ian recommended all this years ago....and the beer is better!
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Haven't you tried Indian Cobra beer!! Available at all Indian restaurants (including in some cases on draught) and suitable shops. Delicious!

I am finding the same thing of late either I am working or there are jobs that need doing inside and out. Also when I do get a little time I to knackered to really do anything and rather than muck a build up I tend not to bother.

I'm fortunate in that my wife has no problem with me spending a lot of time on my hobby, but on the other hand there is always something getting in the way, either work or chores. That's also the downside of the summer, you cant use the weather as an excuse to stay indoors!

I find that having stopped working I dont have time to do all that needs do be done! My weekends are only different by the missus being home and we can do stuff together...
Settle down at the back. I mean i like gardening or going out some place.

But things are looking up. Come the end of the summer, I will have a man cave again, ready for the long dark nights and cold wet days.
Enjoy your trip to Copenhagen Rick. Take lots of money- lol

There is never enough time for everything.

Enjoy Copenhagen, but as Ian said take plenty of money it can be expensive and remember Denmark is not in the Euro.
