Hi all well here is an example of what I mean, can't alter the title I prefer the old layout, is there no way this can be made to look like the old site, not pleased with the new look or the way it works, I loved this site.Comment

Sorry to read about you dad. I hope that both he and your mum get through it.
regarding the not being able to edit the title. Do you not have to options quote, edit, options, directly below your message?
you can pm me and I can change the title for you if you wish.Comment

Yes I have those options but when I alter it and try to save the edit it just locks up, if I leave and go to another forum and come back my edit is still there but still won't save, but it will let me cancel the save, guess I will just have to be careful not to make a mistake, it's probably my new tablet.Comment

Oh and the thread about my dad I started before this one, when the server was switched they must have got switched and mixed together dad is back home on 100% oxygen, it's my mum I'm worried about now she is so tired but won't accept any help, I've suggested respite care but she won't hear of it.Comment

My Mum had a stay at a respite in Somerset and she actually enjoyed it.
Glad to hear your dad is on the mend.
Im not sure why the changes can't be saved. Are you on a PC or a iPad or smartphone?Comment

My mother-in-law didn't want to go into respite care. We railroaded her (effectively) by booking it and gathering together her clothes and saying the car is waiting. Reluctantly, she agreed ("but only for a few days"). A week did her the world of good. Sometimes it is necessary to be firm.Comment

It's my dad I want in respite care to give her a break, I've asked the chest nurse who come in every day but she says it has to come from my mum, she has strongly suggested my mum needs the break but mum won't hear of it, she says once he's in there he won't come out alive. She really is stubborn over stuff like this.
