Isn't flory charged? I tried one time, but I think there is a fee on the membership

This is the only site I post on, although like many others I do consult other sites when checking reviews when looking at my next kit.

I am on a truck modellers forum and in a few truck related Facebook groups where I get to chew the fat with a few modellers that I have actually met and have known for some years but rarely meet up anymore as I don't get to the shows and events.

I only post on this one, the only other one ive joined( and uploaded a few pics to) is Scalemates. Iuse scalemates to find out about a kits provenance and look at the reviews , whats available in the way of aftermarket stuff ,etc. This was the first one I ever joined and its still my number one ,  tony

Just this one - never felt the need to go anywhere else.

I also now use Scalemates for Stash Management though.

I think this may offer an explanation why ISM is inpersonal. Once, I sold a kit to the Forum owner, (won't name who) and he raged over how I sold something to him and it was taking a long time to get over to him. Sure enough, a few weeks later, it arrived in the UK, in perfect condition, and although he tried taking it up with PayPal, he lost it..... Personalities there are generally negative. I was generally put out, because my selling reputation was spotless, and he just had to spoil it... ISM really did put me off

I found that the international scale modeller forum was created solely to sell their stuff, and not for the community and building advice.... Concerning the Badger primer, that is very true, and the people who own UMP have said that Badger primer is their primary primer and a few months later, bingo! UMP Primer with basically the same properties and most likely formula to Badger primer. I don't use the UMP products anyway, I use Mr hobby products, and steer away from vallejo purely on a personal perference, and use AK, Mig and AMMO products for weathering. Their so called "patented" PE Placer is sold a lot cheaply by RB productions who really were the ones who made it.  Their washes are pretty much the same as HGW and Flory models washes...... As a matter of fact, I find their forum pretty obnoxious (pardon my harsh criticism, but it's true. I have over 300 posts on their forum, and the atmosphere was not great at all)

Yes, its £3 pm but for that you get access to a whole range of training videos, reviews etc plus discounts of their and Everything Airbrush products.  The forum is only accessable to subscribers.   I find it an excellent resource even though I dont post much.

I have had some 'run ins' on the ISM Facebook page - some members really have a 'down' on certain products and if you have the cheek to differ, woe betide you.  Not a happy place at all.

The UMP primer is a white labelled Badger primer, exactly the same stuff obtained from Badger,.

I think we are unanimous about their primer around here.

When I stated my opinion that the Iwata Hi Line was better than the H&S Infinity because it is easier to clean, has less parts to clean and offers better performance, I sort of got slammed as well. Differing opinions don't mix, which is why I stick here where everyone's opinions are listened to. Here it is a great forum and great environment
