    Are Carpet Monsters carniverous?

OK. Now I need to find out if I should be worried!

We've all lost bits to the dreaded Carpet Monster, and today was no exception for me - except the bit I've lost is the box my 1/32 Tamiya Phantom came in! There's only one room it can be in and I've spent an hour in there looking.

Are they carnivorous? Even worse, are they Zombie Carpet Monsters???!!!!!!

Er Dave, if you loose some bits to the carpet monster-that is the way it goes. When you loose the whole box it is time to check into the nearest care home

It's the same on the real thing. I dropped a 3/8th nut this week and heard it bounce from 20' high all the way down off the landing gear, work platform and the floor...I found it 30' away towards the tail after 20 minutes looking for it.

Could explain the lack of mice in my modelling room? How on earth can you lose a box that size Dave? Have you checked it isn't inside one of your even bigger boxes......

Moni, I was kinda hoping that, as our resident Zombie genius, you'd reassure me there weren't any Zombie Carpet Monsters!

You can't go much further because Melbourne is so darned cold at the moment! I just got back from three days there, glad to be back in double digit temperatures.
